1. Helen was a daughter of Zeus and Leda.
2. Helen married Spartan King Menelaus.
3. Helen fled with Paris of Troy.
4. Menelaus’s elder brother, Agamemnon, was forging a battle against the Greeks.
5. These two brothers originated from Tantalus and Dione and were sons of Atreus.
6. Who was Dione?
Dione was the daughter of Atlas.
Atlas was a Titan condemned by the gods and was punished and asked to hold the sky on his shoulders.
7. They were affluent, and as you can see, the friction between gods started right with Titans—the new and the old order gods.
8. Who are the Titans among the Greeks and Trojans?
Titans were prehistoric gods, and Olympians were the second generation of gods.
9. Atlas gave way to Dione, who married Tantalus, the king of Troy.
10. Ideally, history does not say anything, but you can deduce that of the rest of the old order gods vanishing to Tartarus, only Atlas could bring up his child into the kingdom of the new order.
11. It means the old order gods survived through Atlas and his daughter Dione, who paved the way for the battle between the old order gods’ descendants and the new order gods.
Ideally, the old order Gods and Troy were destroyed in the war, and the new order Gods took over.
12. The Greeks won the Trojan War, destroying the ascent of new-order gods and the descent of old-order gods.
13. The ascension led to the formation of the new world.
What do you understand by “old order” and “new order”?
It was the end of a pure clan and the rise of a mixed clan of Gods—the new order Gods came with similar powers as the old order Gods, but they had a different origin point.
Helen initially was in favor of the new order Gods since she was a product of them, but then she shifted to the old order and then was brought back to the new order.
She played a pivotal role in bringing the swap, and both sides wanted Helen’s power and money. To wage a war, they needed money. Money flew towards the point of interest.
This, Helen, was more than a romantic interest. Celebrating and glorifying romance was a major change that took over after the new world order of gods took up complete control.
The old order gods were a combination of Uranus/Others and Gaia (what do you mean by this?).
The new order of gods, primarily Zeus, began from Kronos and Rhea, two powerful Titans.
The new order of gods also came from different combinations other than the Titans.
Man tried making powerful humans by mating with the new order Gods.
We are several generations ahead with multiple genetic lines flowing through present family trees.
An old structure came down, and a new structure came up during this time.
The Trojan War was won in 1250 BC, and the Roman Empire took shape in 753 BC.
A time difference of 500 years.
Cleopatra’s Egypt took shape from 51 BC to 30 BC in a gap of 700 years.
What or why knowing this will be important will get covered in the next chapter.
