One day a young growing girl asked her mother while she was slowly arranging the freshly dried clothes and keeping it on the wooden racks.
“What is destiny Ma?”
The mother smiled, though she was educated she herself struggled understanding the world. Why her mother left so early?
How or who decides when who has to leave and who needs to stay?
How do good men suffer more than bad men here?
What good does bad men do and so on and on.
“Let me see….” She took a deep breath and sat down on a wooden chair nearby
“I think luck is that part of our world where there is no hand of men in the act.”
“So, does that mean a place where noone else is doing anything but someone is doing something that is helping the story move?”
“Yes, sort of.” The mother nodded.
“Who does it when men are not doing it?”
“Maybe the person involved is doing it to himself or if there is a higher power in this universe.” The mother replied.
“How can we do it?” I was slightly taken aback.
“Maybe your wishful energy winds up in the future, so they say be careful what you wish for.”
“Are we so strong?”
“We aren’t but we can be.”
“How?” The little girl’s eyes widened with wonder.
“Even I don’t know that, I am trying to find out too.”
“If I find out first I will tell you everything.”
“Done, deal.” The mother smiled back.
After many years….
One day when she was walking in front of three men who seemed to be mocking her from behind, someone as though pushed her from behind and she fell down adding more fun to the show.
“Destiny.” The mother laughed.
Slightly hurt, the girl looked at the guys who now tried hiding their faces.
“By making them mock you and by making them laugh at you, someone is making sure, you are safe from the gaze of men.”
