“Here comes our shore.” Golmak went around cleaning his ship. He got up early in the morning that day.

“Someone has to be there on the boat twenty four seven, either you or me. Do you copy that?”

“Yes, I do.” Loimi nodded as she walked on the wet floor. Golmak knew she liked doing that, smiled and ignored how dirty her feet were leaving small imprints all across the floor. Humans are so obsessed with leaving their mark on Earth.

“This is a mobile. Give it to your mother. I have saved my number in it. You and your Mom go first, check out what you need and once you both are back I will go for a stroll.”

Loimi ran down to her mother who was busy counting her cash.

She had ten thousand dollars with her. Somehow, she needed to protect it.

She decided to bury it in the ship and took out five hundred dollar from it.

The rest she placed back in a black bag.

She removed one of the square blocks of wood, placed her bag beneath it, placed back the block of wood and finally covered it with a door mat, a thick one and placed a small rug over it.

Loimi saw what her mother did with a saw in her right hand, she went closer to Limie once all this was done.

“Never tell a bird.”

“Yes, I won’t even tell the red beaked bird. I promise.” She whispered back into her mother’s ears as Loimi’s long eyelashes tickled her mother’s left ear.

“Very well, it’s roaming time. We will enjoy the day.” Limie hugged the girl and kissed her nose.

“Fine Mom, we will have breakfast outside?” it was clear from her imploring voice that Loimi desired to eat something else.

“Fine. We will have noodles.” Limie began to dress up. She had taken a bath in the Sea water with soap and it was still sticky.

“Noodles is a nice dish. It is designed like wriggly worms and the smell is great.” her mother continued.

“Nooooo…..I won’t harm the worms.” Loimi nodded.

“Great. Then we will take vegan meals. No fish for a few days. We can try chicken, mutton, beef, pork and lamb playing up with the little girl.”

“So much food? Do you know the names of all the foods? Are these all vegan food”

“lmml….not everything but yes, some vegan food I do know but yes, these are not and I was just playing up. Some countries I have never been to, so I don’t know what they eat.”

“Why do humans eat differently? Are humans not the same everywhere?”

“They are sweetheart but then the climate is different everywhere, in some places it snows, in some places the Sun is very hot. Everywhere in the world the vegetation is also not the same. It differs from place to place, country to country. Not everyone gets fish darling.”

Loimi was sitting atop the bed and listening to her mother’s words carefully.

“Noodles….noodles….nooodllessss.”

Loimi jumped out of the bed and ran away, singing the same word again and again.

But then Golmak walked in, “Why don’t you keep it in a bank?”

“You saw it?” Limie could not believe what she thought was a secret actually was not a secret anymore.

“I know it since you are onboard and I have not touched it. But, I would like to make a suggestion. Why don’t you get an online account and try growing your money?”

“Question is which country? I belong to none.”

“In that case, I can help you. Don’t worry I am not behind your small sum of money, besides I fear your guards?”

Limie knew he was right and that she had no other option, now that the secret was no more a secret.

She also knew she could begin anytime, anywhere. It was her skill, her only skill. Since her growing up, she began many times.
