“We will touch the shore tomorrow morning. We are getting down at Bali. The next stop will be India. We will then move on to the Capes as we travel west.”

“Golmak why are we going back to the Indian Ocean?”

“We are going back to the Indian Ocean since clearances are issued from only some major ports across the world.”

“Ahh! We are pirates on the Sea.” Loimi had a mouthful of fish.

“Yes, there are bigger pirates on the Sea. They are mainly near the African subcontinent and also towards South America and some small islands.”

“This side is clean?” Limie asked.

“Yes, this side is absolutely clean. See the Japanese are not much into piracy. Australians and New Zealand take care of their shores. Besides, I am from New Zealand. I know the lands. After that Indian shores are clean thanks to their coast guards and the Naval Dome.”

“Ohh! You chose Bali for what?”

“Bali has many such small groups who when paid can help clear the coast till African subcontinent. This money is sent to their brothers in those areas and hence attacks are less.”

“Attacks are less? I thought you said you will pay for safety?”

“Yes, I am paying for safety. But pirates are pirates after all. What if they want to earn some extra bucks?”

“The fishes here are so tasty and luckily you get a good catch every day.” Loimi was again chomping on a mouthful of the fish flesh.

“Yes but I save my fish too. You have seen that deep freezer room, right?”

“Yes. We have. But I have also found a finger there, a human finger when I opened one of the freezer.” Loimi spoke as though it did not matter and Limie’s throat choked hearing it.

They helped Limie back to her normal breathing.

“Yes, there are two dead corpses in that freezer which you opened. They attacked me, they were pirates. I could not throw them in the Sea so I carried them with me.

Once I am in the Pacific I would empty that up.”

Golmak was leaning over the table to thump Limie’s back and he went back to his chair slowly once she regained her composure.

“Why did you do that? A Killer you are?” Limie had stopped eating. Her brows had moved upwards.

It was evident that she was tense. The previous few days she had begun trusting this guy and now she was again feeling her heart beats and her pulse.

Golmak could see the trust slipping from her eyes and took a deep breath, stopped eating and began telling his story.

“Well, I had gone off to the South African Coast all alone some five months back. On my return a small boat with five men attacked the ship. I killed two of them; the ones who came up here, the rest three were wounded by my arrows and fled back on the same boat. I am a pirate of the pirates.” Golmak lifted his collars and his face was quite a red one.

“Yeaaaa…..Will we have a drink, a chilled drink at this point?” Loimi’s voice was a sing song rhyme.

“Yes let’s go and pick it up from the freezer.”

Golmak left with Loimi who seemed to trust him. Limie had no other option; Limie knew she was safe with him, Limie’s gut told her so.

Golmak did not look a year older than fifty four to Limie and she wondered now if he was really seventy.

It was only possible if he was still in his fifties that he could kill and plunder so much.
