“That dumbo Rinbuk is watching, careful.” Mastii told Netti.
“Really?” Netti turned to look behind her.
“Phew, does he even understand?” Netti questioned back to which Mastii replied in a hurry whispering into Netti’s tail.
“No he doesn’t but he reports everything he sees to that vile loathsome Midrace who sees and knows everything.
“Should we change our course then?”
“Yes Netti I think it would be wise to do so.”
Mastii motioned to a creek and they swam through it into their lands. The sharks were not allowed beyond the creak of course.
“What do we do now?”
“We wait here Netti. We wait till the dumbo leaves. But, you know the ship by the sound. Follow it as far as you can, close your eyes and concentrate and I will jump out and see if we can catch them up on the other end.”
“I think Mastii they are going to touch the shores today. They are moving towards the lands, look from here. Do you see where it’s turning? Another ten thousand nautical miles as per the ship’s geometry.”
“Ship’s geometry?” What does that mean Netti?”
“I meant as per Humans.”
“Ahh! I see. You know it from some sunken ship, don’t you?” Mastii looked sideways.
“Yes yes.”
“Fine. Hang on then, we can go back to them and follow them playfully for some time. We can thus know what they are up to?”
“That way Dumbo has nothing to report.” Netti was quite joyous at finding the solution all by herself.
“Yes Mastii, let’s do that then, come behind me.”
They silently swam behind the shark, and touched it’s tail. Poor Rinbuk did not even look back, he ran away, dashing with almost every being on his way.
“There is another problem Netti, these deep sea scuba divers. They are almost everywhere now. See one is peeping at us from there. Isn’t there anybody who can tell them that they have taken shape from all of us?”
“They are fools, I have heard. Humans are limited in everything. They don’t even see us or any other being in their correct forms. It’s strange, isn’t it? It’s strange how they survive in this way, not knowing anything at all.
They have no idea of anything.
They don’t know our shape and see everything other than their own self in a shape which is either uglier than them or better than them.
They have been given a vibe, cursed with it, I learnt from my Granny which makes their vision limited.”
Mastii was swimming ahead while talking; Netti was behind her trying to catch up with all that she was learning.
She was storing all of this information in her mind.
“Do you know how much they can hear?” Mastii smiled at Netti.
“How much?”Netti was way too innocent and did not much.
“From ‘Lin’ to ‘Lunsi’.”
“That’s it Mastii? Is that 20-20, 000 Hertz?”
“What’s that? Where do you learn such things? A human language I guess, probably some designer understanding of theirs?” Mastii laughed aloud.
“Oh! I found out from a submarine one day while it was passing by.”
“Okay! You eavesdropper?” Mastii nudged Netti, as they waded through the waters almost catching up with the ship.
